Questions and Suggestions Forum

If you have suggestions for improvements to our site or questions about any aspect of trisomy21online.com this is the place to post about it!  Hopefully your suggestion is one that can be implemented and/or your question is one that can be answered.  If you are reading here and see a question that you can answer, please take a few minutes to answer it. 

Member Submissions Forum

This community is meant to be a reflection of the knowledge and experiences of the members that post, chat and lurk here. There are many places throughout the community where members can contribute information and experiences. This message board includes all of these areas and members can use this as a vehicle to make their submissions. Members can also use this as a place to check what the latest submissions are as posts will be bumped to the top as they are made. To find a section that you want to contribute to, simply use the pull down menus at the top of the page and then hit the "Go" button and it will drop you to the right post.

Adoption Support Forum

This discussion forum is for all those who are touched by the adoption of a child with Trisomy 21. It is meant to be a place for birthparents, adoptive parents and potential adoptive parents to come and share information and support. 

Advocacy Forum

This board is meant to be a place for our community members to discuss advocacy issues.  Hopefully we can get some conversations going about these issues that are so important to our children. Be sure to check out the rest of our site by using the links at the side of this page.

Book & More Club Forum

This forum is for all who would like to participate in reading and discussing a book related to Down syndrome.  We start a new book every 4-8 weeks.  Feel free to join us at anytime.  The book that we are currently discussing will always be listed at the top of the board.  Books we have already discussed or are thinking about discussing are listed here:

• Book List - An alphabetical list of books that have already been posted about.  You can use this list to link back to the post about the book that you are interested in discussing.

• Movie/Video List - An alphabetical list of movies and videos have already been posted about.  You can use this list to link back to the post about the movie/video that you are interested in dicsussing.

Buddy Walk Forum

This forum is meant to be a place for those who have Buddy Walks near them to post about them to let others know they are coming up. This forum can also be used to organize meetings at thoe buddy walks or for those who are working at or organizing Buddy Walks to share. Don't forget to post pictures for all of those who won't have the opportunity to make it to a Buddy Walk this year!

Graphic and Web Design

The forum is meant to be a place to ask questions and share information about pictures, graphics, webpages...etc.  Katrina, our resident graphic artist will be checking this board often so if you have questions about posting pictures or making graphics she will help you out.  As well, if you would like a signature tag, she will help you out with that.  Aside from that, this forum can be use for anyone who likes to play around with graphics and webpages as a place to share information and what they have created.

Health and Medical Issues Forum

Some children with trisomy 21 will face certain medical issues.  Most, if not all, of these issues can be treated and managed so that a child will still live a full, productive, long life.  This discussion forum has been set up as a place to discuss medical issues in children with trisomy 21.

This discussion forum is meant to provide a place for members of our community to plan their "in real life" meetings. Please feel free to use this forum to plan small or large get-togethers.
